Casey was one of my favorite people that i had ever met. He had such honest, positive energy that came from his heart and always shed light on all the people he was around. I am so sad that he has passed and send big hugs to all of you. I would like to donate to a cancer research facility in his name. Is there any in particular you would prefer?
    Much love,
    Ellie

Casey’s Family: Although I never had a chance to meet Casey, it is obvious what a special person he was. He was very fortunate to be surrounded by a wonderful loving family. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

  3. I knew Casey in college, and am saddened by the recent news of his passing. My heart goes out to his friends and family as they mourn the loss of Casey, but also as they celebrate his life.

Some of us who knew Casey in college would like to send flowers and/or make a donation in Casey’s name. Does anyone know how we should go about doing this?

I don’t remember how and when I met most of the people I went to school with, but I will never forget the day I met Casey at Garfield Elementry Middle School. It was his first day and we met before school out front and hit it off from there. Casey’s smile was a special one, cause you couldn’t just see it on his face, but you could feel it from his heart.

I did not meet Casey, but I had the privilege of working with his Dad for over 10 years. Often, when I would see Dennis at work, he would give me an update on how Casey was doing. His eyes gleamed with pride whenever he talked about Casey. He was certainly a remarkable young man. By looking at Casey’s pictures I can see that he has his dad’s hair. Dennis, will your hair ever recede?!

in the short time i had the pleasure of knowing Casey, he showed more courage than anyone i’ve ever known. and to him, he wasn’t doing anything extraordinary, he was just living his life in spite of the obstacles cancer was creating for him.

it’s incredibly sad; he was a good person and such a fighter. i can only imagine what he went through the last few months of his life and i can only imagine what you, his family, is going through right now.

Casey no doubt touched the lives of so many, and he will be missed. we can all learn something from the way Casey chose to live his life.

  7. Casey and my younger sister Amory were friends in highschool. She was verry saddened to hear of his passing. Casey will be remembered as a brave, caring, funny young man. He will be missed.

We said goodbye to a very special person today. I will miss Casey more than I can describe, but I feel honored to have had the gift of his friendship. May he rest in peace now, and may his wonderful family find comfort in their memories of him and the legacy of optimism and joy and strength that he leaves to us all.

  13. It’s been two years since I had the privilege to meet Casey in a small cafe in San Francisco, his most favorite city in the world. That was the start of a wonderful working relationship but most importantly an amazing friendship. In behalf of BBDO Proximity, thank you so much Casey for touching our lives over these past few years. We are so much better people to have known you.

I was shocked and very sad to hear today of Casey’s passing.. I was lucky enough to meet Casey in 2003 whilst I was working in MN.. Throughout your life you meet many people but few make such an impact that fun and happy memories stay with you forever, I am pleased to say that Casey was one of those few people that leave such a positive impact.. I can recall many a night at Jitters and The Times in MN drinking and dancing till the early hours, whatever the mood Casey always helped put a smile on your face… You have left far too soon, however I hope you are now at peace my dear friend and thank you for the priceless memories that will be with me forever… Alistair xx

Casey, I was coming out of Starbucks the other day and I though I saw you coming around the corner from a distance, just like I had so many times before. That long loping stride and a smile on your face every time we caught a glimpse of each other on our way over for a cup of coffee and some kind words.

I look for you every day and I miss knowing that I will never be surprised seeing you coming through those hallways again. I won’t forget you and I hope we see each other again someday.

In the meantime, I will think about you everyday in my prayers with the hope that god will bless you in a place where you find eternal peace.

    God Bless You,

    Chris
